  1. Well excellent bike, but the front brake needs relining. Look at the cable and the pivot arm, any time the angle between them exceeds ninety degrees, means the brake needs relining. The more you pull on the brake lever, at this stage, the less braking effect you will get.

    The law of physics says that the braking force is eqaul to the force in the cable, times the perpendicular distance to the pivot point.
